Passionate, Prissy, and Persistent is how Allison describes herself. A 2009 graduate of Howard University School of Pharmacy and a 2004 graduate of North Carolina State University; She believes your biggest contributions are in the community.
Allison’s community service revolves around Epidemic Rx: Prescription Drug Abuse is the Nation's Fastest Growing Drug Problem. Her passion for drug abuse prevention began in the fourth grade as a member of the Just Say No Club. From that moment to almost twenty years later, she has proven herself an advocate for prevention and education of drug abuse. She has worked many different organizations including Spartanburg Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission, North Carolina State Students Against Destructive Decisions, and The Partnerships at Drugfree.org. Allison hopes to start the conversation about prescription drug abuse in American households.
Her memberships include Junior League of Washington, Phi Lambda Sigma-Pharmacy Leadership Society, The Black Doll Affair, and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. Allison’s accolades include 2009 Howard University Patient Counseling Competition Winner, National Dean’s List, and South Carolina Cherry Blossom Princess. Allison supports and volunteers for many organizations. Over the past year she has supported American Heart Association, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Capital Area Food Bank, National Association of Preventative Kidney Care and Counseling, and many others.
